"Batch Posting Recovery Overview"

Every now and then your postings might fail. Perhaps it was due to power fail, account numbers not properly listed in setup table, etc. This tip will help you recover that lost Batch:

If your workstation crashes or locks up then upon restarting your computer and your Dynamics a message will be displayed to the user.

This message will only be viewable by the user but anyone with rights to the Batch Recovery process can also take the appropriate corrective action.

In the Batch Recovery window incompletely posted or "stuck" batches will be listed with its name, origin and Batch Status.

This batch status is key to correcting problems and finishing the posting of transactions.
