"Using
the New User Desktop!"
Confused by the new User Desktop for MS Dynamics GP 10? Learn how to navigate your homepage in this month's quick tip:

Did you know users can navigate to the windows of the application using several
different paths found in the Address Bar, Navigation Pane, Lists Pane, and
Content Pane? As an option is selected in each component, the users choice is
reflected in each of the other components as well. |
| An example of this is as follows: A user can click on the expansion arrow
following the word Home in the Address Bar. A pull down menu will be displayed.
If the user picks Sales from the pull down menu, the Address Bar will show Home>
Sales> Sales. The Navigation Pane will change to show the Sales option as will
the Lists Pane (it will show it highlighted) and the Content Pane (will change
to show the Sales windows and tasks available to the user). |
| Another good thing to know is that the Navigation Buttons in the upper left
corner of the User Desktop, function like the Back and Forward buttons of your
Internet Explorer. |
| The Travel History icon to the right of the Forward button displays a recent history of the travels of the user through the application and allows a user to click on any of the recent screens and return immediately to that function. |
