Customer Spotlight: See Who's Getting a Chopper

Col-Met Spray Booths receives custom made “Col-Met Chopper” from fellow MS Dynamics GP user, Orange County Choppers; Watch the “American Chopper” episode on the Discovery Channel, airing in April or early May.

Finding quality suppliers is not as easy as one might think. In 2009, Orange County Choppers began the search for a new spray paint booth, a very critical step in the creation of the custom motorcycles for which they are known. Many of you may have seen the television show on the Discovery Channel that chronicles the building of custom made choppers.

Col-Met was referred to Orange County Choppers as the best source for custom Spray Booths. They contacted Billy Roche, Col-Met’s Sales and Marketing Director and informed him that they were in the process of finishing up their new facility in Newburgh, NY and were in need of a spray booth.

Col-Met Spray Booths’ president, Eric Jones, accepted the challenge and designed Orange County Choppers a custom size “Evolution Series 1 Double Wall Insulated Spray Booth” that would both fit the tight room specs and meet the local codes. Look for Col-Met’s logo on the booth as it should show up very well in future episodes featuring their painter, Robb Ortel.

In addition, Orange County Choppers is also doing an episode on Col-Met and the story behind their new booth. The show will include the custom made “Col-Met Chopper” that will be unveiled on the show airing in April or early May.
