Business Alerts

Most of us would love a system that can watch certain user defined data points and send us alerts when a monitored event occurs. Well with Dynamics GP Business Alerts you can have just that!

What is a Business Alert, you might ask? Imagine a notification sent to the purchasing manager when certain key inventory items fall below a specified reorder point. Or it could be an alert for the accounts receivable manager notifying them that a customer account climbed beyond the credit limits established.

In order for the Business Alerts to be used you must first meet these two conditions. First, the SQL Server Agent must be running on the SQL Server.

Second, if Business Alerts need to notify users via email, MS-SQL Mail must be configured and running.

Once both conditions are met, start using Business Alerts to keep you notified and on top of your day to day business activities!
